I dunno, there's just something so sunny and cheery about that color. =)

EG, I do love the pumpkins. Maybe because they're orange? I'll keep checking on the cocoon... might have to capture it to see what it hatches.Just Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15008462659487802315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3268559567958002671.post-17183304195702631472009-07-28T06:16:31.627-07:002009-07-28T06:16:31.627-07:00I really enjoyed the photos of you pumpkins and sq...I really enjoyed the photos of you pumpkins and squash. I decided several years ago that I really like orange flowers which I find funny because as a child, orange was probably my least favorite color!

I vote fall planting for the garlic - of course, this is the first year I've ever grown garlic that turned out right, so what do I know :-) I did plant it in the fall...Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13306754150860679811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3268559567958002671.post-64248623213392006222009-07-27T19:03:37.115-07:002009-07-27T19:03:37.115-07:00I did a deep soaking of everything last night just...I did a deep soaking of everything last night just at the base of each plant to help protect them against the heat. It should be short lived (105° or so till Thur) then dropping back down into the 80°'s. If you like, put it in a jar and see what kind of winged creature it spawns.

The oppressive heat doesn't seem to be affecting the garden one bit. I can't believe it's all doing so well with the temperatures the way they are around there!!Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.com
